Our project proposal “Re-engineering Service-Oriented Systems” got accepted and will receive funding from
NWO Jacquard for a PhD student for 4 years. The position is open and we are looking forward to receive applications from ambitious students who would like to do a PhD on that topic.
The project will focus on quality analysis and re-engineering of service-oriented software systems. Objectives and contributions of the research comprise: the development of meta-models and reverse engineering techniques for service-oriented systems, the definition of SOA specific quality attributes and metrics, the development of SOA anti-pattern detection strategies, as well as a set of (semi-)automated re-factoring techniques to resolve SOA anti-patterns.
