Our vision is that any person should be able to use a content distribution system to spread his content directly and efficiently to an audience of millions all over the world. We believe that Peer-to-Peer (P2P) technology can be used to realize this vision. With Tribler, we create software for live and archived video content sharing that has a basic understanding of human friendships, of user tastes in content, and of Internet connectivity between users. MultiProbe is a framework for large-scale underlay/overlay network measurements. The main feature of MultiProbe is that is allows to perform joint measurements of large-scale overlay networks and their underlying Internet parts. For instance, MultiProbe has been successfully used in a large-scale measurement of BitTorrent, one of the dominant P2P file sharing networks, and its underlying Internet parts. The MultiProbe framework can be also used to extract user-realated characteristics of P2P networks. MultiProbe provides:

Globule is a third-party module for the Apache Web server that allows a given server to replicate its documents to other Globule servers. It takes care of maintaining consistency between the replicas, of monitoring the servers, and of automatically redirecting clients to one of the available replicas. Globule also supports the replication of PHP documents. It runs on Unix and Windows systems.
