From the past ... 
Before pursuing my PhD research work
at the Software Engineering Lab (SWERL), I joined Nergal,
a software solutions and consultancy company in Rome. The typical roles
I had
involved design and (model-driven) development of
object-oriented (C++, Java) systems, as well as of (C, Assembler)
applications in the embedded systems area.
Independent/Freelance projects I worked on
include a custom portal development, for which I was the technical lead and
the project manager. This
project was due to
Kapil, to whom I also owe thanks for the help with the design of
this page and for the logo.
I
hold a Diplomat Engineer degree from the Technical University
of Civil Engineering, Bucharest - Faculty of Building Services,
concluded with a final project at Masters level at TU Delft. The
project, entitled "A dynamic model of the resorber
operating in a hybrid heat pump", was conducted under the
supervision of dr. C. A. Infante Ferreira.
I also hold a Licentiate degree in
Business Informatics from the Academy of Economic Studies,
Bucharest - Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics and Business Informatics, with a
thesis on integrating heterogeneous data systems.
