I was born in Marand, a medium city in the province East Azarbaijan, Iran. My province, East Azerbaijan, is located in the North-West corner of Iran and has its own local language called Azeri which is special case of Turkish. My country is one of the fairly wide countries, about 1.648,000 sq.km area, and there are so many different languages and cultures in it, such as Azeri, Arabic, Gilak, Baluch, … (click here). In addition to above languages, the official language of my country is Persian. There are some historical places in my hometown, Marand which absorb lots of visitors from different points of Iran and neighbor countries. In general, Iran is one of the historical countries and you can find some in each province and so many tourists visit them every year. The provinces East Azarbaijan, Esfahan, Fars (Specially Shiraz, the capital of this province), Kerman, Yazd, … would be mentioned. Finally, if you get any chance to stop by Iran, do not forget to go to the North which consists of the provinces Guilan and Mazandaran. It is located south of the Caspian Sea and nearly whole year is green and beautiful.
