About me
I'm Alberto González Sánchez. I was born in Spain in 1984, and I have always lived and studied in the city of Valladolid, in Castile and Leon, a region twice the size of The Netherlands but 16 times less populated.

I graduated in Computer Systems Technical Engineering in July 2005 (Ingeniería Técnica en Informática de Sistemas) and in Computer Engineering in August 2007 (Ingeniería Informática) in the University of Valladolid, Spain. During the first semester of 2007, I was an Erasmus student in the TU-Delft, making my Master's Thesis under the supervision of Arjan van Gemund and Rui Abreu.
In November 2006 I was awarded the Premio Extraordinario de Fin de Carrera, given to the best graduated Bachelor of the year.
Between September 2005 and June 2006 I worked as intern at my region's house of representatives (Cortes de Castilla y León) IT department, extending and deploying my Bachelor project (Proyecto de Fin de Carrera), a parliamentary agenda web service and a client for PocketPC mobile devices.
